As a licensed esthetician, you can work in resorts, salons and spas, entertainment industries, cruise ships, or in healthcare facilities assisting dermatologists.

Esthetician (basic and master level)
We can teach you how to become a competent and confident esthetician.

We emphasize the anatomy and biology of the skin as a basis for our esthetic training. Depending on which program you enter, you can learn basic and advanced techniques for skin rejuvenation, relaxation and hair removal. We also focus on chemical peels and makeup application. We finish with an introduction to light therapy, microdermabrasion, waxing and lymphatic drainage.

These 600-hour programs are based on recommendations from the advisory board of the Virginia State Board of Cosmetology and Barbers.

Nail Tech Program
Our 150-hour program is designed to meet the state of Virginia's requirements for licensed nail techs. You can learn anatomy and physiology of the hands, feet and nails as well as sanitation, safety, manicures, pedicures and artificial nail application. Half of our program is based on self-paced learning and the other half on guided instruction of techniques.
