Cosmetology
Gain the well-rounded foundation you need to become a successful cosmetologist by training at Stacey's Hands of Champions.
We start with the basics of shampooing, sculpting and cutting on all hair types. You will learn tools, sanitation and hygiene and how they apply to all other areas of work. We also teach you methods and products involved in changing a client's hair texture and color.
We also focus on basic esthetics and nail technology, with sections on identifying skin types, applying skin treatments and makeup, manicures, pedicures, and artificial nails.
Esthetics/Skin Care
Our esthetics program is designed to do one thing: make you a well-rounded esthetician with a broad base of knowledge.
We focus on the technical aspects of esthetics. Sections include:
• Cell study
• Metabolism
• Body systems
• Bacteriology
• Physiology
• Human anatomy
• Chemistry in relation to skin disorders
As you advance, we teach you how to identify skin types and perform a basic facial. You will also learn therapeutic facials with equipment, mask therapy, tweezing, waxing, microdermabrasion, face and full-body synergy treatments, and makeup application.
Nail Technology
Stacey's has created an exciting Nail Technology course for all areas of nail salon service. We feel this is the most complete program available. It's designed to help you gain a broad foundation in successful nail care practices.
We don't just teach you to do any old manicure and pedicure. We focus on the theory and practical applications of popular nail techniques. We go further to silk wraps, fiberglass, gel and acrylic applications, tips, and nail repair. You will also learn how to recognize and apply excellent nail art.
In addition to your training
We have integrated a complete People Skills program into each of our courses.
This is designed to help you communicate with clients better in a salon and service industry role. By developing people skills and strong technical knowledge, you will have all the resources you need to be successful in the beauty industry.
