Our staff members and instructors have years of experience in the beauty industry and in educating today's stylists. Each and every student is special at SKA and developing your creative and technical skills is our promise to you. SKA has maintained a smaller more private feel in both our schools.
Our personalized approach ensures you will be provided a solid educational foundation through our classroom instruction, hands-on training and clinic experience which is critical to mastering hair design and esthetics. Solid Education
Quality education comes from qualified and experienced instructors. Our team is simply the best! Our curriculum is based upon the Tricho-Symmetrics Hair Cutting System for superior design, increased performance and quality.
Students are also educated by our Master Esthetician in skin care, manicuring, pedicuring, acrylic nails, waxing and make up. Our clinic floor is busy and provides a comfortable learning atmosphere with continual hands-on training and styling opportunities. SKA provides each student with their own station along with all the high quality materials and tools necessary for your success.
Design Team
For those exceptional students who have the talent and time, we have the SKA Design Team opportunity. This team promotes excellence within our Academy and represents SKA in various promotional and community events such as the "The Total Women's Show," "Bridal Showcases," fashion shows and charity fundraisers.
Financial Aid and Scholarships
The Sherman Kendall Academy of Beauty Arts and Sciences is a nationally accredited school. Our dedicated financial aid department is here to walk you through the application process and make sure all financial aid opportunities are made available to you in terms you can understand.
