Cosmetology

Successful completion of the Cosmetology program can prepare you to work as:

Nail Technology
You can learn the basics in nail technology through our blended educational experiences. Learn the theoretical concepts in the classroom and hands-on skills through actual practice. You can also gain the skills necessary for the diagnosis and application of cosmetic preparations related to the hands, feet and nails.

Successful completion of the Nail Technology program can prepare you to work as:

• Manicurist
• Pedicurist
• Nail Product Demonstrator
• Nail Salon Owner or Manager

Upon completion of the Nail Technology program, you can qualify and prepare for further study in advanced Manicurist and Nail Art classes. Prior to completion of the Nail Technology program, a maximum of 250 hours can be applied toward the Cosmetology course.

Cosmetology Teacher Training
Student teachers can gain the skills and techniques that are necessary for teaching cosmetology. Through our in-class instruction and hands-on training, you can learn the essentials for becoming a teacher. You can use your knowledge to educate the cosmetologists of tomorrow. Upon completion of the Cosmetology Teacher Training program, you can qualify and prepare for the state and national teacher training seminars and continuing education.
